NOR' WEST BEND OPEN WEEK

NOR’ WEST BEND STATION
Is celebrating its 160th year
This privately owned, National Trust listed property is
opening its gates to the public to coincide with the Riverland Rose Festival. If you're a rose garden lover or history
enthusiast, you will thoroughly enjoy a visit to Nor’ West Bend Station.
Nor West Bend has been under going an 8 year garden and building restoration program. Take advantage of this special event to view this unique property, garden and waterfront.
Stroll through a large acreage garden that is entirely sub-soil watered. The garden contains some 200 roses along with many old varieties and water wise plants.
OPEN 10am till 4pm daily
Sat 16th Oct - Sun 24th Oct
Entry is $5.00 pp
Morning and afternoon teas will be available
[larger groups please advise to help with catering].
While enjoying a cuppa in the historic wool store, you can view a wonderful exhibition of paintings along with daily pastel demonstrations by Brian Smyth from the Pastel artists of South Australia.
